Here is my definition of procrastination:

It starts with your decision to submit late, arrive late, and complete the project after the deadlines. Then, it translates into a habit that becomes a problem.
SOME REASONS WHY YOU PROCRASTINATE
Procrastination can be due to a variety of factors, such as fear of failure, perfectionism, or a lack of self-discipline.
Here are 10 reasons why people procrastinate:
1. FEAR OF FAILURE
When you're afraid of failing, you may avoid putting in the effort needed to be successful. This fear can lead to self-sabotage, where you don't even try because you're afraid of failing.
This fear can also lead to perfectionism, where you're afraid to make any mistakes. All of this can make it hard to be diligent because you're focused on avoiding failure instead of focusing on the task at hand. thereby leading to procrastination.
2. PERFECTIONISM
Perfectionists may avoid getting started on tasks because they're afraid of making mistakes or falling short of their standards.
Perfectionists may also struggle to make progress because they're afraid to make mistakes, which can prevent them from taking risks and trying new things. This is also a reason for procrastinating.
3. OVERWHELM AND ANXIETY
When you feel overwhelmed by a task, you may put it off because it feels like too much to handle. This can lead to a cycle of procrastination, as the task becomes even more overwhelming the longer it's left undone.
